"The biggest problem with using AI to build websites is that even if you give it great references, it still comes out looking like AI slop. It used to be those signature purple gradients and the glowing buttons… But now it is the Claude look that all have those massive italic serif headlines and a black or cream old money background that's trying way too hard to look expensive… You could have the best product in the entire world, but if your website looks like AI slop, no one is gonna take it seriously… I've been through the depths of hell testing every single design skill on the entire planet. And this is the only one I've found that really fixes it. Welcome to skill of the week… This week's skill is called Apple Design by Emil Kowalski. Emil went through all of Apple's WWDC talks and pulled out 17 core design principles and then packaged them up into a skill we can use. Simply install it and Claude follows those rules every time it designs something. Or point it at something that you've already built and it will review it like an Apple designer will… I've used this on all of my websites, all of my apps, even on an email I designed and a PDF brief… I've now made it mandatory for my entire team… comment the word skill down below and I'll send it over."
